In the matter of George Whaley
a Revolutionary Soldier
It is hereby certified that satisfactory evidence has
been exhibited before the Court of Common Pleas aforesaid, at their
October Term A.D. 1851, that George Whaley who in his life time
claimed a Revolutionary Pension, died in Jackson County, Ohio, on
the Fourth day of July Eighteen Hundred and Twenty-two, leaving
surviving as his widow, Mary Whaley, and that the said Mary
Whaley died in Adams County, Ohio, on or about the fourth day
of October, Eighteen Hundred and Twenty Six, leaving as surviving
children of the said George Whaley and Mary Whaley deceased
the following named persons, to wit: Silas Whaley, Joseph Whaley,
William Whaley, Abner Whaley and Mary Shuster; and that they
are the only surviving children of the said George and Mary or
either of them, all which is ordered to be of recorse.
Ordered that Court adjourn until nine O'clock tomorrow
morning.
