OBITUARY: An Aged Man Gone
Died at his home near Fordsville, Ohio County, Kentucky, January 3, 1913, after a short illness. William R. BEATTY, the oldest brother of the late M. M. and A. J. BEATTY, of this county. Uncle Billie was born in Grayson County, October 3, 1827, being 85 years and 9 months old on the day of his death. Besides a wife 82 years old, and six children, he leaves one brother J. R. BEATTY of Breckinridge, two half brothers, Tram BEATTY of Breckinridge Co. and Henry BEATTY of Ohio County. His remains were laid to rest January 4 in the old family burying ground in Hancock County. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. May their loss be his gain.
