Notes - Henry Vance moved to Michigan from Tonawanda, New York in about 1890. Some of Henry's and Matilda's children stayed there. The family picture shows the ones who came to Michigan with them. Henry owned a cheese factory in New York. One of the daughters who stayed in New York married a man who manufactured pre-cut homes. They shipped a home to Henry and Matilda.
