Notes - Captured by the indians about 1759, along with his brothers, Jacob and Gabrial. Taken to Scioto area in what is now Ohio, where his younger brother Gabrial died the first winter. Christopher and Jacob were finally released along with about 200 other settlers in about 1765.
His mother and four sisters were killed by the indians during the capture. His father had previously died or escaped, depending on which version of the story you believe.
